![]() ![]() There's also been some changes to evolutions. This is also removed from the Vanilla version of the hack. Some attacks have also been edited, for example the Pledge moves having 100 base power or Cut now being a Grass-type move. However, if this particular point doesn't appeal to you, the Vanilla version of the hack cuts it out. This also makes Dream World abilities significantly easier to obtain. There's a document included that will tell you all you need to know. These can include the level up moves they learn, the abilities they get, their compatibility with Move Tutors and TMs, and even their base stats. There's been a large number of edits to Pokémon. The Elite Four and Champion also hold some surprises in Challenge Mode. Gym Leaders will also have differing Pokémon amounts depending on the mode you play Normal Mode will have them with anywhere from 3 to 5 Pokémon, whereas Challenge Mode will pit you against a full team of six. Most notably Gym Leaders, your rival and the Elite Four have all been made significantly tougher. This has also raised the level curve of the game, meaning you can expect to beat the first round of the Elite Four somewhere in the 70s levelwise. The exception to this at present are the Dome trainers, as they aren't really necessary and there's no proper trainer editing tool available for B2W2 yet. The rosters of almost all of the trainers in the game have been edited. Most areas now contain at least 8 Pokémon species, and in most cases, more! You'll be able to attain a complete PokéDex within the limits of the game itself, and the majority of Pokémon are available no later than the seventh badge, meaning you can form basically any team you want! There's a couple legendaries that you can't get until after the Elite Four, but aside from that. The wild Pokémon have been edited in each and every area of the game. So basically, just pick whichever colour takes your fancy! If I'm not mistaken, these are also the first Black 2 and White 2 hacks on offer.Īdditionally, the two versions only differ in terms of their aesthetic differences, such as the appearance of Opelucid City, the title screen, etcetera. There's also a large amount of alternative features these hacks offer, which range from differences to the Pokémon themselves to the presence of a couple new TMs. ![]() The usual rules with my hacks apply the main feature is that all 649 Pokémon are available for capture somewhere in the game, and the trainers have all had their rosters changed in order to maintain a much harder challenge than the original game, as well as having an increased variety of opponents to fight. Pokémon Blaze Black 2 & Pokémon Volt White 2 are essentially the sequels to my Black & White hacks known as Blaze Black and Volt White. ![]() ![]() My many iNat friends know how obsessive I am about this step. a street sign, an Allsups storefront, etc.) so that I can properly place my images. Recall that I don’t have GPS capabilities on the camera, so I either have to take detailed field notes (which I do) to associate batches of images with a known location, or I have to supplement the image set by photographing a screen image of a GPS app when I’m in the field or photograph some other landmark (e.g. ![]() I can do this in batches based on separate locations, but if I was moving from place to place in a given field day, this can be very tedious. Before any editing starts, I have to make sure all images have proper geographic location data. I manipulate and change those events later on as I organize and group my photos based on destination, subject, etc. I usually let iPhoto separate all the downloaded images into daily “Events”. I work on an iMac desktop computer (currently running MacOS Mojave 10.14.6) and I’m still using iPhoto (9.6.1 which is now 5 years out of support). The real work begins when I get home to my desktop computer. (I always carry one or two extra cards just in case.) I will often examine my images on the laptop while traveling but I don’t do much editing (other than to examine what I might have documented) because the laptop is not the final destination of the images. A 32-gig SD card is sufficient to last me through a 10-day to 2-week trip, depending on how many plant and moth images I take. When I’m in the field, especially on a multi-day trip, I download all images daily from the SD card to my travel laptop but keep the images on the card. That adds one major time-consuming step to my editing pathway, as listed below. I won’t bemoan all the disadvantages, but for present discussion, the main problem-are you listening Canon?-is its lack of GPS datalogging capability with images. It has the advantage of portability and affordability. ![]() My trusted photographic equipment is my now-infamous little Canon PowerShot SX620 HS point-and-hope camera. Ignoring all those earlier reasons for my typical pathway to uploads, I thought it might be of some limited interest to at least document the torture I put myself through when I actually do get around to handling my observations. All that said, my editing process is a bit arduous because of my equipment and my personal preferences for image and upload quality. An honest mea culpa for such delays will have to admit to being somewhat lazy, somewhat sleep deprived, somewhat addicted to certain TV shows, and generally just interested in what is right in front of me right now, as opposed to “yesterday”. For any given effort, especially for the wonderful bioblitz’s that I enjoy participating in, I’m usually the last to get all my stuff up on iNat. I may be the slowest (read: most delinquent) uploader on iNaturalist. ![]() ![]() You can check by seeing if the notched corners of the card are in the right places.
